# Blog and news publishing surfaces get launch polish

The FactionOS public website now has a more complete publishing surface for blog and news content.

This update adds featured entries, latest-update treatment, category groups, related entries, previous and next article navigation, RSS affordances, and stronger seed content for validating the templates.

### What changed

* Blog and news index pages now highlight a featured or latest entry.
* Category groups expose product, architecture, field-notes, release, changelog, demo, and company update types as text.
* Detail pages can show attribution, related entries, cross-links, and newer or older article navigation.
* RSS categories now include collection, category, and tag labels for non-draft entries.

### Why it matters

The release value is editorial readiness: the publishing routes can now carry product, architecture, field-note, changelog, and company updates with draft filtering and stronger navigation in place.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://faction-os.gitbook.io/faction-os-docs/public-website/src/content/news/website-publishing-polish.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
